Are you a Soccer Fan?
You may already know that LA will be hosting the FIFA World Cup this summer at SoFi Stadium. This will be the second time LA will host the "LA Copa Mundial"
In 1994, the game was played at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and the famed "Soccerfest" was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which will be available again this year, its where fans can participate in many activities related to the game, meet and greet Soccer legends from around the world, check out merchandise and pin trade! Access to Soccerfest does require spectators to purchase a ticket to enter the festivities.
However, there are lots of options for fans to enjoy the games as LA will transform into Ground Zero to watch over 100 World Cup Soccer games, over a 34 Days period, at 18 venues with Free Screenings, watching 48 National Teams playing for the final game to win the coveted "La Copa"
The City of LA will be hosting World Cup Soccer watch parties at various recreation centers and parks across the city and will alternate for these viewing parties.
"El Sereno Recreational Center" will be one of the venues.
Are you ready to "Kick it in the Park"? City officials are currently planning each event program for each venue.
Soccer aficianados will be able to watch live soccer matches for FREE, on large LED screens, enjoy soccer clinics and participate in activities intended to celebrate all 48 nation till teams competing in the tournament.
Watch parties are expected to be conducted from June 11 through July 19, 2026 at different recreation centers and parks will be on a rotating schedule to host events for match days.
The City is capping the limit to 1,000 spectators at each venue and as asking guest to bring your own blankets, chairs, and snacks.
City officials are asking the community members to Walk, Bike, Roll and Bus or Train to each viewing party as parking will be limited.
