Found Footage

Found Footage An arts & culture publication | A space for friends and strangers doing something different. http://foundfootagemag.tumblr.com/

What happens when two friends (played by Alex Morales and Scarlett Aguilar) spend too much time in the city they were born? They embark on a twenty-something existential journey that serves to open their eyes to the extremely vast world beyond the little isolated coastal bubble of our youth. Out of boredom, frustration, heartbreak, anxiety attacks and a desire to start something fresh and interest

ing, and to get up and do something with pride, and to meet a bevy of new friends, Found Footage was born. Part real life, part virtual world, Found Footage seeks to find those who live like it's 2012, authentically and passionately. Life seems more and more like a mad dash toward staying relevant. Instead of human beings, people act like PR reps, representing the product they are selling, which is their funny, quirky, good looking internet presence. It seems like nobody wants to talk anymore. Talking has been replaced by “likes,” “reblogs,” “retweets,” and text messages where the written word is condensed into “K”. Heartfelt conversations and confrontations in the form of an iMessage. Timid, shellshocked house cats are able to masquerade as lions behind a little LCD screen, when what they aren’t saying is the most revealing.
