This P-trap setup just doesn't look right... 🤔🚰

I called a licensed plumber to repair my tub's overflow drain, and after discovering there was no trap installed, this was the solution he came up with. Unfortunately, it's now leaking from multiple points—including the overflow drain cover itself. 💧
To make matters more confusing, another plumber from the same company assured him it was fine. This is from a 5-star rated plumbing company in Georgia, so I'm genuinely surprised.
Am I overreacting, or does this installation seem incorrect? I'd love to hear what the pros and experienced DIYers think. 👨‍🔧🔧

Starting at the stack and running most of the 3 inch for this bathroom, I might do a part 2.
