When I packed my long sleeve INTRA jersey for a trip to the Alps, I didn’t actually think I was gonna need it… but I’m glad I did because it was perfect for all the chilly high altitude climbs.

PS check out the gilet on slide 3. Like my mullet, it looks even better from the back 🤘

High altitude = time for
As a fuel source, ketones produce more power with less oxygen than carbohydrates. This can be especially helpful for efforts in low-oxygen environments, like at altitude.
So you better believe I was fueling with Ketone IQ as I was submitting Stelvio and Galibier this summer—both over 2600 m (8500 ft)!

I’ve ridden a lot of steep streets all over the world, and to be honest the comment section is usually wrong when they say, “I know a steeper street,” but boy oh boy were they right this time.
Luckily, joined me for the climb because I was ready to give up almost immediately 😵

‘lil appreciation post for the bike that took me all over the Alps. I got to ride this new, ultralight Esprit frame with a crazy mullet setup (46t chainring, 10-52 cassette) up some of Europe’s most iconic climbs as well as some stupid steep “streets” and it handled them a lot better than I did 😂

Thinking about doing a bike breakdown video. Any questions about the setup?

It’s the end of our mini vacation nestled inside of my work* trip ❤️ Dropping off at the airport 😭 and then I’m headed back to the mountains to film two more videos before heading home 🫡
