The workplace of our friend and artistic collaborator Tony Goggles caught fire Monday night. Read his statement below for more info and a Gofundme page:
As some of you may know, the offices at Exit 7A Creative Services & Studios caught fire on Monday night. I’m still processing everything, but I wanted to share a few thoughts.
This building isn’t just a place I work. It’s where 98% of the art you’ve ever seen from me was created. The barn where we’ve filmed so many of our videos and movies… the office where all those raw images get shaped into the D.I.Why? Films you love… every flyer, album cover, t-shirt design, and wild idea I’ve put into the world — all of it was born within these walls.
And it’s not just the space. It’s Scott Miller Scott has been there for me since the very beginning of my professional career. Back when I didn’t know bunk about bunk, he let hone my skills that shaped the artist you know today. He gave me room to grow, let me crash at the office whenever I needed to, and believed in me long before I understood how much that mattered. This wasn’t just a workplace — it was a second home (and if you ask Amanda Stauss-Catanese, probably my first). And Scott isn’t just my boss; he’s a true friend who’s gotten me out of more jams than I could ever list here.
Exit 7A has been a lifeline for countless Trenton artists, musicians, and filmmakers. Without Scott and this space, a lot of the work you love — not just mine — simply wouldn’t exist.
If you have a moment, please take a look at the GoFundMe, donate if you can, or even just share it. Every bit helps.
