When shooting a music video with DJ Lethal, don't bring up Fred Durst. Of course, even if I knew this, I was still gonna' do it. :)

How do I tag Electric Windmill Press to talk about how good the shoot was last night?

The ALMIGHTY OPP shoot last night was an insane experience. Who is Almighty Opp you say? What documentary you say?

Q&A: Matt Weinhold, The Comedian With a Collection To Die For | FANGORIA®

Article for which we provided the pics. This man had an amazing display.

To many horror fans, the weight of your fandom is measured by the size of your collection. And for good reason: as conventions start growing with record-number attendances around the country, blue-blooded genre nuts are separating themselves from the rookies by hitting up the myriad booths of memora...

"Working with Steve Craig and the Cynopia crew was a true pleasure. We are really pleased with the video they created for us. It was completed on time, as promised-even though we had a short deadline and Steve was driving across country in the process of editing. Amazing.

Mimic Theatrical Trailer

October Horror Binge #46: MIMIC (1997)
Last one (even though I had to watch the end in November. Guillermo Del Toro's action-packed horror is likely one of the best of its kind. The monsters don't look stupid, so there's that, the characters make good decisions and the dialogue isn't nauseating. Several accounts of selflessness, so all in all, you're not furious with characters the way you often are with films like this. And of course, it has my main man, Giancarlo Giannini.

Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer (Official Trailer)

October Horror Binge #45: HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER (1986)
Anyone who has seen this knows the grime they feel during and after. On the downside, it's a monotone piece. Every minute is a simple depiction of two deeply disturbed men who get enjoyment out of their murders. No arch, no hope. For me, it works, as does Michael Rooker and Tom Towles.

Bela Lugosi Interview

October Horror Binge #42: DRACULA (1931)
What makes the true classics like this so delightful are the performances. Only Bela… Only Dwight Frye. In all honesty, today's movie goer might nod off after the halfway mark, but hey if that's all you need to appreciate the forefathers, I can dig it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPOA1dS9YmU

Bela is interviewed upon his return to the USA in 1950/51 after filming "Vampire Over London". He reminisces about Dracula and the films he made in Hungary.

Aberration Teaser Trailer HD (1997)

October Horror Binge #41: ABERRATION (1997)
There's a lot of movies with this title, but it's the one about lizards that evolve at an unreasonable rate to survive any attack and sometimes kill people, but mostly other animals. Seriously, this movie rejects any opportunity to be scary and fails at its attempt to be funny. Yet, I still enjoyed it more than V/H/S.

WORST TRAILER EVER!?

Night of the Living Dead Matricide Scene

October Horror Binge #40: NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968)
So much brilliance to George A Romero AND JOHN RUSSO'S classic feature debut. No horror film was ever quite done like it before and frankly after. The social statements are subtle, yet effective. The feeling of being trapped with people who seem just as harmful as the ghouls outside is evident. And, the main antagonist of the film, not a zombie but some stubborn guy, seems to have been right all along! If they listened to him, they'd likely all be alive! Hmm…
One of the best movies ever. Period.

Ghoulies 2 Official Trailer #1 - Royal Dano Movie (1987) HD

October Horror Binge #39: GHOULIES 2 (1987)
They're back and they're looking for a good time. And a good time is exactly what this is. No matter how low budget/underground they don't make campy films quite like this anymore.

Seed of Chucky - Violence is bad

October Horror Binge #38: SEED OF CHUCKY (2004)
The writer of the Child's Play series takes a whack at directing. Here, Mancini takes his silly series and makes it bonkers. Worth it for John Waters and Redman's surprisingly vital roles, and the subplot of deciphering their child's gender. When Glen/Glenda dresses like its mother, zie kinda' looks like Helena Bonham Carter.

TONY: SXSW 2010 Accepted Film

October Horror Binge #35: TONY (2009)
With an image likely based on Dennis Nilsen, Tony will cause all kinds of discomfort We follow him through the meaner streets of London, where he is overlooked enough to get away with his various murders. Directed of The The's brother, it's mostly worth it for the lead actor. Sort of a British Henry.

ParaNorman Gay Joke

October Horror Binge #34: PARANORMAN (2012)
An enjoyable, mostly forgettable stop motion animation that seemed to stir frivolous controversy for having the first openly gay character in a children's feature.

Winifred Sanderson; Witches Take The Bus (HD)

October Horror Binge #33: HOCUS POCUS (1993)
Speaking ill of this movie would come across snobby, though I must say there's quite a bit of suggestive humor for this harmless, Disney kids movie. Of course the most harm is done by Bette Midler's egregious rendition of "I Put a Spell On You." (shudderzzz)

Martini Ranch: How Can The Labouring Man..with Michael Biehn

October Horror Binge #32: BRAIN DEAD (1990)
Many people get the names Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman mixed up, well this film makes it convenient for ya' and stars 'em both. Not to be confused with Peter Jackson's Dead Alive, which was originally released under the same title, Brain Dead was written by the brilliant mind of Charles Beaumont, who gave the world some of the greatest Twilight Zone episodes (yes, from the original series.) Not without its flaws, but fun and surreal, two attributes that carried it throughout.
Instead of a clip or trailer, here's a SWEET music video from Bill Paxton's music group that offered the credits song.

The Origin of Elvira

October Horror Binge #31: EVLIRA: Mistress of the Dark (1988)
I remember seeing Elvira's first feature a long, long time ago, but the film mostly escaped my mammary. OH! Seriously, this film is 80% breast jokes, but we all love Elvira and her wit, so its worth our while.
