Polyurethane suspension bushes can be a good upgrade - In the right application. But, in this case it's completely the wrong application, the Poly compound is harder than standard rubber and has caused the suspension arm to fracture. That's why, when someone wants us to modify their Land Rover, we like to disscuss all the factors around the modifications, what use the vehicle is going to encounter, how much load it will carry, budget, future plans, etc etc. So we can advise accordingly. If, in the instance above, someone had asked us to fit Polybushes to a Discovery 3 or 4, then the answer would be a polite, No. It ruins the comfort of the car, and as above can cause failure of the suspension arms.
The parts accessory market for Land Rovers is huge, and there is soo much choice of things you can bolt on, but please make sure its right for what you need.
We have used Land Rovers in all conditions, around the world, for work, play or competition, so we know what will work for your application.
