A collection of stills we captured from a recent shoot for WE ARE RISE INC, documenting their 7th Annual High Tea Party.

This non profit is a terrific organization, focused on mentoring and uplifting girls and young women of color in Los Angeles.

We were proud to partner with them on this project.

As well as stills, we created a full 3:30 minute video and a 60 sec socials reel (we’ll share these soon).

Capturing real life events in a compelling way is a great way for non profits and mission-driven organizations to share with and build their community, as well as amplifying their mission and attracting awareness to their cause.

We turned live event coverage into something more than just an “event recap”, “highlight video” or “aftermovie” as they are commonly referred to.

We told a story.

Of an organization’s impact. Of a community and its shared values. Of a founder and their vision.

We created something that guests and attendees can return to and remember what a time was had and what it meant to be there.

Something that new eyes, seeing it for the first time, can be inspired by.

Video ≠ just video.

It is story. Documentation. A record. A vehicle that moves people and drives action.
