Ever wonder what every film investor really wants to hear when you pitch? After years of experience, I’ve narrowed it down to three simple things:

✅ The excitement of being part of a movie
✅ The experience of lights, cameras, premieres, and red carpets
✅ The chance at revenue (with a real plan, not wishful thinking)

If you’re raising money for your film, these three keys are non-negotiable. Watch the video, then drop a comment—what’s been your toughest challenge when pitching investors?

🎬 Ever wonder what sales agents are REALLY thinking when you pitch your film?
They’re not just being polite—they’re sizing up three big things fast. If you don’t hit these, your project’s likely getting skipped.

✅ Recognizable cast—do they know the name instantly?
✅ Marketable genre—clean drama? Unique horror?
✅ Killer trailer—cut by a pro or a drag?

These elements can make or break your pitch. Want to give your film the best shot at getting picked up?

What’s the #1 thing every film investor wants to know?
How they’re getting their money back. That’s where the investor waterfall comes in.

✅ Investors get 120% of their money before any profits are split
✅ Profits are split 50/50 between investors and the production company
✅ If there are multiple investors, it’s all based on their percentage
✅ Every film business plan needs this—no exceptions
✅ This is how I’ve closed every deal I’ve ever done

👉 Watch now and let me know in the comments—how are you structuring your investor deals?

Your film’s one-pager is the first impression people see—and yes, they’re judging the book by its cover. If it looks cheap or rushed, you're labeled an amateur right out of the gate.

✅ Make it look like a real movie
✅ Hire a real designer (Fiverr is your friend)
✅ Use conceptual art if you don’t have cast
✅ Show a synopsis, team, and status
✅ Print it right—nothing too tiny, nothing oversized

👉 If you're making a one-pager for your film, watch this before you do anything else. Drop a question if you’ve got one—I’ll respond.
