The studio is located in an old warehouse, once used as a handbag factory. The unique configuration of brick and wood lends it self to be an inpsiring sounding recording studio. Seahorse features a room large enough for a small orch

estra (23x30X24), and has acoustically unique spaces throughout the building. The control room houses a vintage Neve 8038 console and is located on a 2nd story overlooking the main live room. Please see our gear list for more equipment information.

After playing a gig with Michael McDonald, checked the credits for I Keep Forgettin’ - and realised his grandfather, Israel Baker, played violin on it. 😳 Not only that… he’s also on Lovely Day by Bill Withers. 🎶

Musical legacy runs deep in the Dart family. 💫
