So back to my “new means nothing” saying. I got this engine nice and warmed up. Made 1 good pull and had some rocker noise. Check out these junk comp cams ultra pro rockers. You can see the body where the bearing goes is not even round anymore, lost some bearings ect. Full on “Chinesium” I tell you!!! Let’s be an engine builder, it’s easy they say. 😆

2023 Tacoma with only 11K miles — customer states, “Truck won’t accelerate like it used to.” Customer says the truck has noticeably lost power and doesn’t respond to the throttle the way it did before. With such low mileage, I’m surprised to see the clutch looking like this. The pressure plate and friction surface show obvious heat damage and uneven wear. What could have caused this so early, and what would you check first?

Swapping probably the weirdest engine I've come across yet, ford inline 6, 6.6 diesel mechanically injected that i didnt even know existed, exhaust manifold/turbo is on drivers side and intake is on passenger side (backwards) has about 5 throttle rods connecting the injection pump on the passenger side to the drivers side throttle pedal, has two power steering reservoirs with two pumps, possibly for hydroboost, I don't know lol, what a goofy setup.

I have a c15 acert mxs model that I recently overhauled about a month ago, problem I'm having is the engine brakes quit working all the sudden, and can't figure out why, replaced all sensors, engine harness, and injector/jake, intake actuator harness, jake and intake actuator selenoids during the overhaul, and the jake switches on the dash are new. Truck has no codes. Do not have cat software, but I did use jpro to monitor the clutch switch, throttle pedal, jake switches, and watching the ecm command the Jake's on, all that looks good. Checked overhead, which was good. Updated quill studs that supply oil to the jakes, I'm getting nowhere here, any ideas? I don't see an engine brake fuse anywhere, I belive thats all supplied through the ecm through the ecm fuse.

What are y'all making per hour?Are you flat rate? Hourly? I want a diesel and an apartment but I can't lose my snap on addiction. Also looking into Penske or Ryder, a fleet shop that I can work six days and still have some time for myself.

Hi everyone
I have a DT466 manual it had oil coming out blow by tube so I overhauled it now it still has oil coming out blow by tube it has no air pressure coming out just oil and it does it only when you hit last gear and soon as you hit last gear with in a quarter of a mile a half of quart comes out but remember no air pressure just oil

We have D13 Volvos
And paccars.
They have both so far been more reliable than the x15

If I was to buy a new HX series i wouldn’t touch the x15 so wondering if these are decent? We sell trucks before 500k normally so I just need to know about the first half of major life. Are they breaking before then and often?

How are other people installing these style of brake shoes. Haven't dealt with this style myself. My co worker is about ...

How are other people installing these style of brake shoes. Haven't dealt with this style myself. My co worker is about to ghost ride the truck into an empty quarry. He got them on after some choice words and some fancy work with a few prybars. But there has to be a better way. Thought I'd put it to.the hive mind to see what people know.
