This is by far one of the most influential ads of my life and one of the spiritual inspirations behind the next BTW project. Please enjoy this 1973 wildfire prevention advertisement that is a whole Cronenberg psychological thriller experience in just 30 seconds. Thank you to the Ad Council and the .s.forestservice for this piece of my heart, and for introducing me to it 10 years ago.

No offense to the writer (hi it’s me 👋) but this script was a hot mess for continuity. It was time and time and ⏱️⏳⏰ again making sure we knew wtfwentwhere while also keeping the set energy cute to the maximum ride.

Not only a talented scriptee but also a talented writer/director/AND performer (and basically every other job too but especially those)- they are a GIFT to every set and I would vouch/will vouch for the long run trust in Eliza, in Eliza we trust.
