I FOUND OUT MY HUSBAND OWNS AN APARTMENT HE NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT – MY FRIEND AND I WENT TO SEE IT
My husband went on a trip with our son and his brother to visit their mother. While cleaning, I saw an email on his iPad from an apartment complex about shutting down the hot water for repairs, addressed to him by name. We own our house and haven't rented it in over ten years, so this was odd.
In upstate NY, my husband had no cell service. I tried sending him a picture of the email, but it didn't go through. When I called, the connection was poor, but I managed to explain. He said it must have been a mistake and they had the wrong email.
If it was a mistake, how did they have his full name spelled correctly? There were no other emails from this sender, but my husband is meticulous about clearing his inbox. There was no unit number in the email, but the complex was about 15 minutes away.
I had no reason to mistrust my husband, but this email felt strange. I called my best friend for help. She found the apartment number by calling emergency maintenance, posing as a delivery driver. Then, we went there and knocked on the door. ⬇️

I BOUGHT AN OLD STROLLER AT FLEA MARKET & HEARD CRACKLING SOUND AS I PUT MY BABY IN IT
"Ah, finally, sweetie, Dad got you a new buggy. We'll go home, clean it, and then you can rest in it, alright?!" I told my daughter, feeling pretty proud of the $10 deal I'd snagged at the flea market. Little did I know I was about to uncover something unexpected.
After getting home, I dusted off the stroller a bit. It was clearly used but still in good shape. I decided to take Tiara for a walk, so I gently placed her in the stroller. That's when I heard it — a strange crackling noise coming from under the padded seat.
"What's that noise?" I muttered to myself, quickly pulling Tiara out and placing her on the couch. Curious, I lifted the padding of the stroller, and that's when I saw it — a small piece of folded paper tucked away.

I’m 61, a millionaire by inheritance, but despite the wealth, my life felt empty. My parents died when I was 20, leaving me with a luxurious estate but no one to share it with. Women came and went, but I always felt they were after my money, so I never built a family.

Two days before they were supposed to drive up to Connecticut, Mark called Anna. "Honey, I have bad news!" he said. "I'm on a plane. The board wants me up in Colorado to sort out a labor issue, which means I'll be flying directly to Connecticut on Saturday morning, if at all. I'm sorry, you won't be able to go with me!"
Anna was very disappointed. "Oh, no!" she gasped, I'm so sorry. But what about your gift? Do you want me to have it delivered?"
Mark sighed with relief. Anna was taking it well. "Baby, that would be brilliant! Let me give you my parents' address..."
Anna hung up the phone. Poor Mark! He sounded so disappointed! She stared down at his parents' address and an idea popped into her head. Why not deliver the gift in person? It would be a lovely surprise for Mark!
That it would be a mistake didn't even cross Anna's mind until she knocked on the door of Mark's parents' house and a slender older woman answered.
"Yes?" the woman said politely.
Anna gave her best smile. "Hi," she said. "This is an anniversary gift for Mr. and Mrs. Hallspringer?"
The woman smiled and took the present from Anna's hands. "Thank you!" she said and started to close the door.
But Anna put out her hand. "I'm Anna. Anna Coulton, Mark's fiancée?" She started to feel nervous when the woman's mouth hung open.
"Is this a joke, young woman?" she asked sternly. "Because my son and his fiancée, Anna, are sitting down to dinner with me at this very moment..." Anna rudely pushed past the woman and walked into the house.

A WEALTHY MAN PRETENDED TO BE A WAITER AND INVITED A WOMAN ON A DATE TO THE RESTAURANT HE OWNS
So, he owned several restaurants downtown, and you'd think he had everything, right? Everything except love. At 39, he was never married—most women were more interested in his money than him.
But then he met this 28-year-old blonde, a cashier at a gas station with a genuine smile and hands slightly dirty from handling cash all day. She was different, and he was intrigued.
That day, dressed in his paintball clothes, she joked, "If the Terminator walked in, he definitely wouldn't ask you for your clothes," making him blush and smile.
"I... I was just playing paintball with my friends," he said shyly. He ended up asking her on a date, and she agreed.
So, during the date, he "confessed" that he actually works as a waiter at the very restaurant they were at and had just finished his shift like 30 minutes before. He noticed by the look in her eyes that something shifted. She never imagined that she was about to be part of a big test involving actors and a full-on plan he had set in motion.
