So fulfilling to see this important project make it to The New England Journal of Medicine, to inform the conversations that so importantly accompany the critical decisions around end-of-life care for families.

Grateful for the opportunity to produce in collaboration with the committed team members behind the real work: from the Divisions of Geriatrics (E.W., K.Y.M., A.K.S.) and Pulmonary and Critical Care (L.S., J.A.F.), Department of Medicine (W.G.A.), University of California, San Francisco, the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (E.W., K.Y.M., A.K.S., J.F.), and the San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (W.G.A.) — all in San Francisco.
