THE TALE OF SILYAN follows Tamara’s debut film HONEYLAND, also shot in Macedonia and is The Corner Shop’s first full length documentary feature film!

We are proud to announce that THE TALE OF SYLIAN a documentary feature by Oscar nominated director TAMARA TOTEVSKA has been accepted into Venice and Toronto film festival!

THE TALE OF SILYAN follows a white stork, Silyan, and a Macedonian farmer, Nikola. Their lives intertwine when Nikola, abandoned by his family, saves the injured bird from a landfill. As Nikola and Silyan form a bond, they find solace and companionship in each other’s solitude.

Diana Markosian directs impactful PSA for The Archewell Foundation alongside Diana travels across the USA, interviewing a number of families who have been left devastated by the unsafe design of social media platforms. Throughout the piece, Markosian delves into the lived experience of children who were made vulnerable by the lack of regulation of social media, leaving them exposed to harmful content. The film not only aims to expose these cracks within regulation, but also promotes the amazing initiatives of the Archewell Foundation’s 'Parent Network', which is there to provide support parents who are being impacted by these issues.
