Candice “Mars” Williamson has joined the Flawless color roster!
Candice "Mars" Williamson is a U.S.-based colorist and post-workflow specialist born in Brooklyn, NY. A true Xennial, she grew up obsessively consuming television — a relationship with the moving image that shaped everything that came after. She studied Cinema and Communications at Northeastern University. She's worked on commercials with agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy and BBDO. In narrative on short films, features, and music videos for artists including Tegan & Sara, Peaches, FKJ, and The Summer Set. She also lectures about color theory and grading at universities and house parties internationally. Mars is passionate about stories from marginalized communities — people of color, the q***r community, and female-driven narratives.
She spends her spare time consuming an entire century of art one decade per month. She can also still recite large portions of dialogue from almost every Xena episode.
