Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides WORLD PREMIERE pic for a Wayback Wednesday (if that’s a thing) Today in 2011 Flashback! Here we are at what was one of the longest (in time) red carpets we’ve covered! It was actually a black carpet for this one, maytees🏴‍☠️! The carpet ran all the way down Main Street in Disneyland! Our fam is 4/4 on being huge Disney fans! You DO NOT want to get into a DL vs WDW discussion with us😂! Lots of interviews from this HuMoNgOiD event!

EXTRA BTS? OK! So, Disney really went all-out making this one special for press! We’ll search the Piper's Picks Planetary Archives for video, but get this…one press outlet had the audacity to take a pirate ship that had on press tables as decoration…and sell it on eBay! We saw. We know. It happened!

Today is a U.S. national day celebrating the importance of the women’s suffrage (right to vote) movement and the work to secure and expand equal rights today!

Women in every state and every cultural and religious group worked to secure women’s right to vote. In 1920, The 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was signed. That's 144 YEARS after the U.S. declared independence in 1776! (Back then, only white men who owned property were typically allowed to vote.)

The first picture is the cover image from the "Finish the Fight!: The Brave and Revolutionary Women who Fought for the Right to Vote" by . It goes beyond the famous names behind the women's right to vote movement (like Susan B. Anthony) to black, Asian, Latinx, Native American, and LGBT women who fought from ages as young as 16!

EXTRA POINTS! The legal⚖️ way to cite the 19th Amendment is "U.S. Const. amend. XIX"
