The International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame “Night of the Stars II’ Makes Exciting Announcement! LAS VEGAS, NV (May 9) – The IWBHF “Night of the Stars II” is returning to Las Vegas, Nevada in our 12th year of honoring and inducting the top Elite Athletes and those who work outside the ring We are happy to make a huge announcement today!

As many of you know, the IWBHF has always tried to go in conjunction with other organizations. In 2014 and 2015, we went in conjunction with the Women's USA Boxing Amateur tournament with Bonnie Canino, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. We also went in conjunction with the Beautiful Brawlers in 2019, in Brisbane, California---and now we are proud to announce that we will be going in conjunction with the WBC Women's Convention that will be back-to-back with our April 4-5, 2025 hall of fame event!

The WBC said, “The World Boxing Council joins WBAN in this unprecedented celebration of Women’s Boxing by holding the WBC Women’s Convention at the Orleans on April 2nd and 3rd, 2025. It doesn't get much better than this! Frankie Valli of the Four Seasons with the WBAN Patch! Thank you Mary Ann Owen who took this photo of Valli last night---what a nice surprise when you sent me this from Las Vegas! [The Four Seasons formed in 1960 in Newark, New Jersey. Since 1970, they have also been known at times as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. I took an amazing journey to Bremerton, Washington yesterday and met up with Oliver Fennell, a writer/editor from Wales, and spending time with Oliver and Trailblazer Pioneer female boxer Margaret McGregor, who fought in 1999, in Seattle, Washington where she fought a male boxer on a huge card, that drew International Media from all of the world. I was able to talk with her about the one of a kind fight at the time----and other female bouts she fought in. Margaret is truly an amazing person and it was wonderful to see her after 24 years. Oliver is writing a book on Margaret and came all the way from Wales to spend time with her in preparation of the book he is writing on Margaret. Attached are photos from yesterday:) I would like to give a huge "thank you" to Oliver and Margaret for inviting me to come see both of you. Margaret will be at our International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame in April of 2025! Stay tune ---way more to come on this fascinating trailblazer in the sport!!
