2025, you taught me it was ok to grieve and still have grace with finding genuine happiness again.
January: spent time with Chancey a lot grateful for our home while so many others lost theirs. Officially lost 10lbs on my GLP-1 & spent time with family.
February: turning 35 & having the best time celebrating doing throwback karaoke. Disney with my cousins. Really busy working at the salon.
March: the beginning of Chance’s illness. Disney with some besties. Gym motivation & date nights.
April: Chance’s illness took a turn that took him over the rainbow bridge & experiencing the biggest heartbreak of my life. Showing up to celebrate my man & his bday. Showing up to events w/friends even while grieving.
May: in the thick of grieving Chance, I got a tattoo to honor him. One of my closest friends was take from this earth by domestic violence and none of us have ever been the same since. All the while working and showing up for other family and celebrating their accomplishments.
June: celebrated 4 years of a beautiful relationship with my significant other. Started back training hard to channel my grief and focus on pouring back into myself so I can continue to show up for others. Continued results on my GLP-1 journey. Getting my baby girl Presley who was sent to us from Chance.
July: the salon got so busy. Partnering with my fav med spa and getting self care in. Spending QT at the beach, weekend getaways with family & friends. Amazing brand events. July was such a great month!
August: August was insanely busy with work behind the chair! Holy moly! This was a pivotal month. I got a partnership with the Fontaine Blu LV for a quick getaway. Spent time doing things that feel good outdoors & of course celebrating my besties bday. This month was exhausting but in the best way. So full of gratitude!
September: another fully booked month at the salon. Chris brown breezy bowl with my close friend of 12 years. More quality time at the beach with friends and family. In the thick of puppy life with Presley. Happiness was a constant feeling overall.
October: the salon wasn’t slowing down at all! Start of holiday peak season. Weddings, birthdays & locked in at the gym
