It’s being reported that popular YouTuber Jesse Ridgway and his wife chose to abort their baby after receiving a Down syndrome diagnosis, and that part of the reasoning was not wanting the challenges that could come with raising a child with Down syndrome. Accurate or not, my heart breaks over this situation because that is still an innocent life that was created by God and worthy of love, protection and the opportunity to live.

Years ago, doctors told my wife and I there was “something wrong” with our baby and encouraged us toward fear and termination of life. We chose to trust the Lord and keep our son regardless of the outcome.

Today, he’s healthy, strong, thriving and ahead academically.

There are so many people with Down syndrome who are beautiful, valuable and deeply loved. They carry joy, personality, purpose and unique gifts that impact the lives of everyone around them in incredible ways.

This video isn’t coming from hate or condemnation, but heartbreak. I can’t help but wonder how many families made permanent decisions out of fear after hearing similar reports.

I’m praying for Jesse Ridgway, his wife and their family regardless. I pray their hearts would be softened, that they would come to know Jesus Christ, come to repentance and experience the peace, healing and love that only He can bring.

And for anyone carrying the weight of abortion, Jesus is still a redeemer, healer and forgiver. 🙏🏼

What the enemy intended for evil, God will turn around for good. (Gen. 50:20). Everything the locusts have eaten, the Lord is able to restore. (Joel 2:25)

Some of you are grieving lost years, broken seasons, addiction, depression, anxiety, compromise, mistakes, shame, guilt, and wondering where God was in the middle of it all. Some of you have beaten yourselves up for years over your past. But Scripture says there is “no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Rom. 8:1)

The enemy is “the accuser of our brothers.” (Rev. 12:10) He wants to keep people trapped in shame, regret, and hopelessness… but Jesus came to set captives free.

God was there the entire time keeping you, preserving you, refining you, shaping your testimony, and preparing you for the people you're called to reach.

There are some things you can only speak on with authority after you've walked through them firsthand. The darkness you came out of becomes part of the testimony God uses to pull others out too.

“And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony...” (Rev. 12:11)

God wastes nothing. He never fails, He doesn’t miss, and He’s never lost a battle. He is sovereign, mighty, and His ways are higher than ours. Sometimes we don’t understand the process while we’re in it, but that doesn’t mean God isn’t working in the middle of it.

Even in seasons where you felt hidden, broken, lukewarm, anxious, addicted, or lost… the Lord was still writing your story. Still faithful. Still present.

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.” (Rom. 8:28)

One day you'll realize God was building oil in the crushing, endurance in the fire, and a testimony that would help set captives free.

He kept you. And He's going to use every part of your story for His glory. 🙏🏼⚔️❤️

There’s been a shift lately where more mainstream artists are becoming bold about mentioning Jesus publicly, and now even Flo Rida appears to be leaning more openly into faith-based messaging as well.

While he hasn’t officially transitioned into a strictly “Christian artist,” he has definitely become more vocal about his faith, publicly giving glory to God and speaking the name of Jesus.

At the same time, wisdom and discernment matter. Social media pages, music catalogs, and public behavior don’t always instantly reflect what God may be doing in someone’s heart behind the scenes. Sanctification is a process. Growth is a process. Fruit takes time.

As believers, our job isn’t to instantly crown someone or instantly condemn them, but to pray, encourage truth, look for “fruit that remains,” and have grace towards one another, especially those that may be newer in their walk with the Lord.

Jesus said: “You will recognize them by their fruits.”
Matt. 7:16

I’ve even spoken out prophetically before about revival breaking out in places many people least expect, including Hollywood and mainstream spaces. It’s refreshing seeing people publicly glorify Jesus instead of hiding their faith.

Pray for him. Pray that whatever God is doing is genuine, deep, and lasting. Because one real encounter with Christ can change everything. 🙏🏼

Nigerian WWE star Oba Femi (), whose real name is Isaac Odugbesan, was born in Lagos, Nigeria and recently shared how much his parents’ prayers and support impacted his journey to success.

Before becoming one of WWE’s fastest-rising stars, Odugbesan moved to the United States on a track and field scholarship. He competed for Middle Tennessee State University before transferring to the University of Alabama, where he became a multiple-time SEC shot put champion and one of the top throwers in the nation.

He also shared during this interview that his church community at Grace Assembly came together to help raise funds that supported his move to America.

Stories like this are a powerful reminder that behind many success stories are praying parents, sacrifice, faith, and a strong community willing to believe in someone before the world ever notices them.

That kind of support is powerful and biblical. In Acts 2 and Acts 4, the early church loved and supported one another so deeply that many even sold possessions to help meet the needs of others. Sometimes one act of generosity, one prayer, or one community choosing to believe in someone can help change the entire trajectory of a person’s life.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” — Gal. 6:2

Jesus said we are the light of the world. Light was never meant to hide in comfortable places, it was meant to shine in the darkness.

Brandon Lake said, “If the rooms you’re in are really bright, find a new room. If you carry the light of Christ, go find a room that’s a little darker, because the world needs you, they need your story.” That’s powerful. The world doesn’t need more Christians blending in, it needs believers who actually carry the light of Christ boldly and walk set apart.

Jesus prayed in John 17 that we would live in a way that shows the world that He is real. “I in them and You in Me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that You sent Me…” (John 17:23).

If we look like the world, talk like the world, and live no differently than the world, it ruins our witness. How else are people supposed to see that Jesus is real through us? We are called to be set apart.

Brandon also shared how many people in secular spaces are drawing closer to the gospel and to Jesus right now. People are hungry. Many are closer to Jesus than we realize. This is something I’ve observed myself and have even seen prophetically. Keep shining brothers and sisters. You never know who’s watching, who’s curious, or who’s ready for change. The Lord said that in the last days He would pour out His Spirit on all flesh (Acts 2:17), so you never know who God has been secretly working on.

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matt. 5:16

Texas politician James Talarico, saying “Jesus never talked about abortion” ignores the full counsel of Scripture and reveals a misunderstanding of who Christ is.

Abortion does not become righteous because culture rebrands it, and darkness does not become light because it’s packaged differently.

Jesus Christ also did not suddenly appear in the New Testament. He is the eternal Word of God revealed from Genesis to Revelation. The same God who formed us in the womb, condemned child sacrifice, and called His people to holiness has not changed because culture changed.

Genesis to Revelation is one story:
Jesus Christ.
