Andrew Glubbey from Merritt Island, Florida is an absolute legend. He took a 170cc scooter, wrapped it in a giant pear sculpture made from two-by-fours and aluminum cans, and is driving it 3,100 miles from the Atlantic to the Pacific Coast. Why a pear? Because pears are his favorite fruit and in his words it's "voluptuous and smiling." The whole thing actually started as a budget hack: gas prices got so rough in 2026 that taking his bus cross-country would've cost $3,000, so he said forget it and built a fruit. The scooter tops out at 55 mph, which honestly might be the perfect speed to travel America in a giant pear. And here's the wildest part is that people actually love this thing. No road rage, just thumbs up and friendly honks all the way from Florida to Tennessee. The pear has won.

A Pennsylvania man is facing multiple felony charges this week after police investigators conducting what was "a pretty basic physical examination" determined that the 1999 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck he sold on eBay for $10,000 was in fact a purpose built NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race vehicle with no airbags, no emissions equipment, no street lighting, and a carbureted V8 producing somewhere between 650 and 750 horsepower. The suspect swapped a VIN plate from an unrelated vehicle onto the truck, reportedly claimed in the listing that the conversion to street-legal had been performed by the truck's former NASCAR owner. Said NASCAR owner went on record saying, and I quote, "False". Maybe he should have registered it in Montana.

Forza Horizon 6 players have found the community’s first “villain”, an AI Drivatar called BowieKnife99. Multiple clips and screenshots show the AI driving extremely aggressively, blocking overtakes, divebombing corners, and causing chaos during races. The name has now turned into a running joke across the Forza community.
While most fans are treating it as a meme, others say FH6’s AI feels tougher and more unpredictable than previous Horizon games. BowieKnife99 is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about Drivatars in the game right now.
