🎬 We’re really excited to finally share this one!
Chazz Fiyastarta Padilla’s reimagining of “Non, je ne regrette rien” is featured in the official teaser for Enola Holmes 3 on Netflix!
It’s amazing where a piece of music can end up…
A few years ago, our friends at Open Road asked us to create an EDM trailer remix of “Non, je ne regrette rien.” Later, they came back and asked Chazz to strip away the EDM elements and reimagine it as a more traditional, cinematic version for a new opportunity.
Fast forward to today, and that journey has led to our version being featured in the official teaser for Enola Holmes 3. What an incredible ride.
When the project called for a newly recorded French vocal, we reached out to our Epicenter network (some of you might remember Chazz’s Facebook post asking for recommendations!). Huge thanks to everyone who reached out, especially for introducing me to the incredibly talented .music - Your vocal performance was absolutely beautiful and spot on!
A big thank you as well to our good friend Víctor Herrera Calvo for the additional orchestral instrumentation that helped capture the timeless feel we were after!
One thing we’ve learned in this business: never give up on a great piece of music. Sometimes the right opportunity doesn’t come along for years, but when it does, all the hard work is worth it.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who’s been part of Epicenter’s journey. It’s been an honor building relationships with some of the best creative teams in the trailer industry, and I’m excited for what’s still to come.
Hope you enjoy the teaser!
