Welcome to the photo dump for Episode 273: The Bennington Triangle (Ghosts, Aliens, Vampires, Bigfoot, & Murder)! Above a thick canopy of broadleaf trees protrudes Glastenbury Mountain. Located in southwestern Vermont’s Green Mountain National Forest, this 3,700-foot landmark is nestled in the center of a mysterious region that has come to be known as The Bennington Triangle.

Within the bounds of the Bennington Triangle, ghostly apparitions appear in the thick fog, whispering warnings to hikers who dare brave the paths leading to the mountain’s peak; dark triangular UFOs hover over the streams that snake their way down the granite rocks before disappearing into darkened thickets; and from 1945 to 1950, 5 people vanished into what some speculate is an interdimensional portal, never to be seen or heard from again.

On today’s episode of Let’s Get Haunted, we get lost in the eerie stillness of Vermont’s Bennington Triangle: clawing our way past the brambles, plugging our ears from the noise of beckoning ghosts, and dodging brilliant beams of light cast down from alien aircraft above.
