🚨 Goku learned one of the most powerful techniques in Dragon Ball, so why keep it limited to just a few fighters?

Goku learned the Fusion Dance during his time in the Other World before the Buu Saga. When performed correctly, fusion can create a warrior vastly stronger than the individuals involved, and it has repeatedly proven capable of changing the outcome of major battles.

Yet Goku never seriously teaches the technique to fighters like Gohan, Piccolo, or Android 17. Even Vegeta only learned the Fusion Dance much later, after fusion had already become a proven strategy.

Considering how useful fusion could be during universe-level threats, many fans wonder why Goku never created a larger pool of potential fusion partners.

🚨 Goku, Bulma, and even the Dragon Balls went through some wild changes before becoming the characters we know today.

Akira Toriyama originally imagined Goku as a literal monkey, heavily inspired by Sun Wukong from Journey to the West. Bulma was once designed as a cowgirl and even had an earlier name, Pinch, while Oolong was originally much larger.

The series almost had eight Dragon Balls instead of seven, and Goku wasn't initially riding the Flying Nimbus he was planned to travel around on a rocket!

Even Goku's design changed several times before Toriyama gave him his iconic tail and recognizable silhouette. Characters like Yamcha, Puar, and Bulma also evolved through multiple drafts.

It's crazy to think that one of anime's most recognizable casts started from such completely different ideas.

Super Saiyan Grade 3 is an obvious choice because its massive power comes with a huge drawback: terrible speed and movement. But at least Goku and Vegeta actually used it in battle.

The real winner might be Caterpy's ultimate transformation from the Other World Tournament. After failing to defeat Goku by tickling him, Caterpy decided to transform into his ultimate form by wrapping himself in a cocoon.

The problem? It would take 1,500 years to finish! 😂

So instead of becoming the strongest warrior in the universe, Caterpy simply lost by default.

💬 Would you have wanted to see Caterpy's final form?

🚨 One of Dragon Ball Z's most tragic battles wasn't just about strength it was about survival.

Future Gohan spent years protecting the remaining humans from Androids 17 and 18, constantly fighting without the chance to properly recover or train. By the time of his final battle, he had already lost an arm and was fighting under enormous disadvantages.

The most heartbreaking part was that Gohan eventually realized the Androids had never been using their full power against him. When Android 17 finally fought seriously, Gohan was completely overwhelmed despite his incredible determination and experience.

Gohan's strength was never enough to close the enormous power gap. His death ultimately became the moment that pushed Future Trunks to become Earth's final hope.

🚨 Piccolo's Namekian fusion could have been one of the most broken power-ups in Dragon Ball.

Piccolo's fusion with Nail and later Kami dramatically increased his power, proving that Namekian fusion can permanently combine the strength and abilities of both individuals. Since many Namekians continued living on New Namek, some fans wonder why Piccolo never considered merging with additional warrior-type Namekians.

If the process could continue stacking power, Piccolo might have reached an entirely different level long before Orange Piccolo. However, the series never clearly establishes whether Namekian fusion has a limit, requires specific compatibility, or carries consequences that prevent repeated fusion.

That leaves an interesting question: Was Piccolo simply never interested in becoming stronger this way, or is there a hidden limitation to Namekian fusion that the series hasn't explained?

🚨 Two of the most dangerous villains in Dragon Ball Z finally go head-to-head.

After regenerating from his self-destruction, Super Perfect Cell received a massive Zenkai boost and became powerful enough to briefly compete with Super Saiyan 2 Gohan. His intelligence, regeneration, and devastating techniques make him an incredibly dangerous opponent.

Kid Buu, however, fights completely differently. While he isn't the strongest version of Buu in raw power, his endless stamina, regeneration, unpredictable attacks, and complete disregard for his own safety make him extremely difficult to defeat.

Cell could potentially control the early stages with strategy and superior technique, but as the battle continues, Kid Buu's relentless aggression and regeneration would likely become too much for Cell to overcome.

🚨 After years of training with an Angel, Goku still uses surprisingly few of Whis' abilities.

Goku has spent years training under Whis, giving him more direct experience with Angel techniques than almost any mortal in existence. During this time, he mastered Ultra Instinct and dramatically improved his understanding of divine combat.

But beyond Ultra Instinct, Goku hasn't demonstrated many of Whis' other abilities, such as creating powerful barriers, effortlessly manipulating objects, or using advanced healing techniques. Considering Goku is constantly searching for new ways to improve, many fans question why his training focused so heavily on combat instincts rather than expanding his overall arsenal.

The manga has never clearly explained why Goku hasn't learned more of Whis' techniques, leaving fans to wonder how much more powerful and versatile he could become if he eventually mastered them.

🚨 The similarities between these two legendary shonen series go deeper than many fans realize.

Naruto's orange-and-blue outfit, blonde hair, and overall design immediately remind many fans of Goku, while Sasuke's appearance has been compared to Vegeta's look from the Buu Saga. The parallels continue with Jiraiya, an eccentric master who trained Naruto's father, much like Master Roshi's role in Goku's journey.

Both heroes also shock others by mastering techniques unusually quickly, with Goku's Kamehameha and Naruto's Rasengan becoming signature abilities. Even the connection between Naruto and the Nine-Tails has similarities to Goku's relationship with the Oozaru.

These comparisons aren't entirely surprising. Masashi Kishimoto has openly praised Akira Toriyama, even calling him the "god of manga." Naruto is far from a Dragon Ball copy, but seeing how Toriyama's work influenced another legendary creator makes the connection fascinating.

🚨 Vegeta never made the wish himself, but Android 17 unknowingly made sure his promise to Cabba was fulfilled.

During the Tournament of Power, Vegeta promised Cabba that he would visit Universe 6's Planet Sadala someday. When Cabba was eventually erased alongside his universe, Vegeta continued fighting with the promise in mind, determined to win and use the Super Dragon Balls to restore Universe 6.

But Vegeta was eliminated before he could make the wish.

That left Android 17 as Universe 7's last surviving fighter. After winning the tournament, 17 could have used the Super Dragon Balls for his own wishes, but instead chose to restore every erased universe. Universe 6 returned, along with Cabba, Kale, Caulifla, and everyone else.

When Cabba saw Vegeta again, he thanked him for keeping his promise even though Vegeta never personally made the wish.

Goku isn't just one of anime's biggest characters he's a global icon. For decades, Dragon Ball has influenced generations of fans and helped shape modern shonen anime.

Naruto, Luffy, and other modern stars have massive worldwide followings, but Goku's legendary transformations, instantly recognizable design, and decades-long legacy keep him in a league of his own.
