LATINO RESTAURANT WEEK LONG BEACH CITY RETURNS FOR ITS SECOND YEAR, SEPTEMBER 22 – 28, 2025
•
LatinoRestaurantWeekLBC.com is back for its highly anticipated second edition, taking place from September 22 to 28, 2025, once again shining a spotlight on the achievements and vibrant flavors of Latino-owned restaurants and chefs across the city.
•
This dynamic week-long celebration invites the community to indulge in the rich cultural and culinary traditions that shape Long Beach’s Latino gastronomic scene. Coinciding with Hispanic Heritage Month, the event aims to honor the innovation, heritage, and entrepreneurial spirit of Latino restaurateurs.
•
Following a successful debut in 2024 with 18 participating restaurants, the momentum continues this year with an expanded program of culinary experiences, community engagement, and cultural pride.
•
Now more than ever, it is essential to uplift and support these restaurants, many of which have been deeply affected by economic challenges, shifting markets, and rising operational costs. Despite these hardships, Latino-owned establishments have continued to step up by feeding neighbors, donating meals, and supporting the community during its toughest moments. Latino Restaurant Week is a tribute to that resilience and generosity.
•
Festivities will kick off with a special Kick-Off Event on Thursday, September 18, 2025, uniting community leaders, chefs, local businesses, media, and influencers for a night of food, culture, and connection.
•
Presented by the Chefs in Philanthropy Program of Affluent Hispanic Philanthropies, produced by Branding is Social Inc., and powered by Exquisitamente, Latino Restaurant Week Long Beach City fosters meaningful connections between the culinary community and the public. The initiative is designed to champion cultural appreciation, drive economic empowerment, and spotlight the exceptional culinary contributions of Latino chefs and entrepreneurs.
•
“We’re honored to bring this celebration back to Long Beach,” said Roberto Carlos Lemus, Co-Founder and Board Member of Affluent Hispanic Philanthropies. “Latino Restaurant Week Long Beach City is more than just a food event. It is a movement to uplift our community, recognize cultural heritage, and support local businesses.”
