Ya de regreso de San Pancho, Guanajuato.

Me tocó pasar unos días rodeado de grandes sombrereros, compartiendo ideas, aprendiendo técnicas nuevas y echando buena plática sobre este oficio que tanto nos apasiona.

Viajes como este me recuerdan que en México hay muchísimo talento, conocimiento y amor por la sombrerería artesanal.

Muchas gracias a Hatmakers MX por la invitación. Me regreso a Los Ángeles inspirado y con más ganas que nunca de seguirle dando.

I never set out to start a hat company.

I simply wanted to create something that connected me to my culture, my community, and the generations that came before me.

What started with taking apart hats at my kitchen table became Marquez Clásico — a Los Angeles workshop dedicated to preserving Mexican-American style through handcrafted hats.

Inspired by El Cine de Oro, Chicano culture, vaqueros, pachucos, musicians, artists, and everyday people carrying tradition forward.

Every hat is made by hand. Every hat tells a story.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey and to those discovering our work for the first time.
