On the way up to Vermont Soul Purpose Entertainment Director’s page and Tony Garcia made a stop in New York City to see some of the sites. Even more exciting was that their tour guide was a member of Soul Purpose Entertainment! Thank you Robert Kay for the visit and for your fellowship. We love you brother!

🇬🇷 GOD CAN OPEN DOORS WE NEVER EXPECTED. 🇺🇸

We are still trying to wrap our heads around this one.

Set Free was recently recognized at the Anatomy: Crime-Horror International Film Festival (A.C.H.I.F.F.) in Athens, Greece — an international festival created to celebrate independent filmmakers and bold, original storytelling.

And here’s the part that means the most to us:

This is a Christian film.
And we just watched God bless Set Free with 12 awards at a secular, international genre film festival.

Not because we set out to chase awards. Not because we made this film for ourselves.

We made Set Free because we believe God gave us a story worth telling.

And now that story has traveled all the way from Georgia to Athens, Greece. 🇬🇷

We are incredibly humbled and grateful to celebrate:

🏆 Best Feature Film — Set Free
🏆 Best Director — Brandon Cannon
🏆 Best Editor — Brandon Cannon
🏆 Best Cinematographer — Rhett Timmons
🏆 Best Sound Design — Eric Dyer
🏆 Best Musical Score — Brian Beardsley
🏆 Best Kill Scene — Robbery Scene
🏆 Best Actor — Logan Polson
🏆 Best Actress — Rayna Wilson
🏆 Best Supporting Actor — Zachary “ZM” Santana
🏆 Best Supporting Actress — Liberty Knowles
🏆 Best Film Poster — Mihisuru “Marz” Palagama

12 awards. One film. One incredible team. One BIG God. 🙏

To every cast member, crew member, supporter, prayer warrior, donor, volunteer, and person who believed in this project — thank you.

And to everyone who has ever wondered whether a Christian film can have a place in the larger film world:

Keep telling the story God gave you.

You never know how far He may carry it.

From a little film made with a whole lot of faith…
all the way to Athens, Greece. 🇬🇷❤️

All for Jesus. All for others.

Why doom scroll when you can watch a Christ centered film? There are two different options to watch Set Free this weekend. We’d be honored if you spent some time with us.

We have Fawesome news!

Set Free is now streaming on the Fawesome app!

One month ago God showed favor by allowing it to be on YouTube. Then He allowed it to be streamed in our corrections system. Now He’s added another avenue for us to share His story of very human lives and how only He can set us free.

Thank you Lord for your continued blessings and all glory and honor goes to You. 🙌🏻

How exciting!!

🎉 Big news, Sugar Hollow family! 🎉

In addition to our Sunday campus, we’re excited to open a Dalton Campus! Starting soon, join us every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM

This new location doesn’t replace anything — it’s an additional space for us to grow together during the week. Come be part of what God is doing — bring a friend, bring your family, and let’s build something special together.

More details coming soon. See you Wednesday nights! 🙌

Wow.

Set Free has been watched over 50,000 times on YouTube.

Our brains can’t even comprehend that something we made here in NW Georgia with a volunteer cast and crew has reached that many people. We pray that each of these viewers took away something from the film no matter how small or large the scene that touched them was.

Lord, we thank you for blessing each of us during production and the lives you’ve allowed Set Free to continue to touch. May we stay humble and work just as hard for You as we move forward.

God keeps opening doors and we’re thankful to be able to step through them!

McFarland Hill Baptist Church is opening their doors to allow us the opportunity to show Set Free in Northwest Georgia again! You may recognize a few faces there as our very own District Attorney Knox (Angela Brock) and Judge Brooks (Randy Cantrell) call McFarland Hill home.

We hope to see you there!
