For sale: For Sale: 1969 American Motors AMX, 4spd. This is one of 8,300 AMX’s made in 1969 with about two thirds being 4spds. These were offered by AMC to compete with the Chevy Corvette. Its’ a base model AMX equipped with numbers matching 390 CI, 245 HP motor done in original hunter green.
The car is original with some suttle upgrades that include: Factory tint windows, freshened suspension with new tie rods, BYB shocks, rebuilt pwr front disc brake calipers, and custom dual exhaust w/tuned headers and Cherry Bomb mufflers. Engine is probably now rated at over 300HP. Aluminum radiator. You ride on Goodrich radials with classic 15" US Ansen Style mags. Power hits the road via a posi rear end. Inside you have an upgraded in-dash stereo, full instrumentation. Corbeau custom reclining bucket seats and new carpeting. Asking $25K

Tank has been stripped down to bare metal and meticulous restoration was performed. Shell emblem has been painted, not a decal. The entire tank was clear coated.
