Alex Romero and Kyle Mantegna met in Chicago on the first day of their first improv class at Second City. In the spring of 2014, after finishing the program together and working on various other projects separately, they began The Make It Up podcast in an attempt to create their own weekly content and cheaply imitate late-night talk shows. Since then, The Make It Up has branched out to become Make It Up Media network, attempting to reach further out in new directions. The Make It Up Media network works out of Old Town in Chicago and is trying everything it can think of — a pizza place where you make your own pie, Jerry!
