I debated talking about this but I want it to open up a conversation. I fully believe progressives and liberals hearts are in the right place. But alot of them have yet to wrestle with how some of their own practices are heavy on the micro aggressions and low key racism. And this is in nearly every space. No matter how well intentioned they are, there is still work to do. I know this first hand. I know how conservatives view us, but they also know how to weaponize the short comings of some progressives. This is really a conversation we need to have.

When we limit our ability to emphasize base on who looks like us we are saying loudly we don’t see the other persons experience as worth of empathy.

I do not care if you claim to be “not racist”. If you aren’t actively trying to dismantle and shut this sh*t down then you aren’t doing enough to be ANTI racist. Your complicity leaves our children traumatized.

Karmelo Anthony's motion for new trial was just denied by a North Texas judge. Not surprised because narrative framing is this country’s specialty. No matter the scenario, if a Black person is involved they’re at fault, and the story gets built backwards from there.

I always find these types of men so ridiculous. It shouldn’t offend you if a woman wants to provide for herself. I’ve seen some recent videos of Trad wives being left by their husbands and they have no job, no skills, no bank account, no credit card no nothing. That type of culture sets women up to be completely co dependent and then fail. Because they let the man take care of everything and now they are left with nothing. It may start with a matcha but it ends with a lot more.

Arguments like these don’t deserve to be taken seriously when the people making them have never once proposed a single policy that would actually improve the conditions for Black Americans. Focus on the things you actually care about

The ones who yell indoctrination the loudest are always the ones doing it. You can’t scream about religious liberty then gatekeep who that liberty is extended to. If you want religion in schools go to a religious school, or advocate for all religions.
