Big confusion in Rivers State:

According Mr Wike he said he is only supporting president Tinubu and not APC because he is a full member of PDP.

Does it mean that he is supporting PDP candidates in Rivers state or does it mean that he use OK Chinda to block Gov Fubara from getting the APC governorship ticket.

Wike destroyed PDP for us, that is fine and good, but we will not allow him to destroy APC in order to rebuild PDP for himself.

We will not allow him to destroy APC. Wike willingly destroyed PDP for us, we didn't force him to do that.

Right now Wike is trying to rebuild PDP back and he is trying to put confusion among APC so that they will run back to PDP but unfortunately, we will not allow that.

ATIKU WARNS TINUBU OVER PLANNED ELECTRICITY SUBSIDY REMOVAL IN 2027

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu against the planned phase-out of electricity subsidies from 2027, urging the Federal Government to consider the impact of higher energy costs on ordinary Nigerians and businesses.

Atiku argued that affordable electricity is critical to the survival of small businesses, manufacturers, artisans and millions of Nigerian households.

The Federal Government has said it intends to phase out electricity subsidies as part of efforts to make the power sector financially sustainable, while developing measures to cushion the impact on vulnerable consumers.

I have said it before and am going to say it again PDP is not going to win 2027 presidential elections, all PDP members is going to support president Tinubu to win his reelection.

But what PDP is doing now is to win some governorship seats, senators seats, House of Representatives seats and house of assembly seats in 2027.

Let me make myself clear again am only supporting president Tinubu am not supporting APC.

The lawyer representing PAMO University of Medical Sciences, Chukwuma Chinwo, has challenged the Rivers State House of Assembly’s authority to summon the university’s Vice-Chancellor over funds provided by the state government for student scholarships.

Chinwo says PAMO is a private university and does not receive appropriated funds from the state government, but only payments from the Ministry of Education for scholarships awarded to Rivers indigenes. He spoke after the Vice-Chancellor and the state's Accountant General failed to appear before the Assembly’s Ad-hoc Committee investigating funds released to PAMO from 2017 to date.

The lawyer also questioned why the House would summon the Vice-Chancellor personally when the university had sent him as its legal representative.
