Tilly Norwood is being called the “world’s first AI actress,” with agencies reportedly circling and SAG-AFTRA plus actors like Emily Blunt already pushing back. Some say it’s the beginning of the end for human talent.

To me it feels like another hype cycle and maybe we’re even being trolled, since Tilly’s creator and founder of is also a comedian.

But here’s why the backlash feels extra sharp: Hollywood is already in a fragile moment post strikes. Budgets are down, work hasn’t fully returned, and now this AI actress drops right in people’s faces. The fear is real and so is the need to protect what’s left.

As a creator I’m not surprised the industry is calling this out. But here’s the truth: AI “firsts” grab buzz, then fade into gimmicks. Meanwhile, I’ve been paid more in Q3 and Q4 than earlier this year because your personal brand and IRL value cannot be replaced. I’m using AI to maximize my skills and bring ideas to life faster, not to replace what makes me unique.

What do you think — is a real threat or just marketing smoke? 👀

Someone recently asked me what joy or happiness means to me.

I don’t claim to have the answer. All I can share is what I feel when I close my eyes and sit with that question.

For me, happiness lives in moments of true presence, when you actually notice life moving through you, whether the moment is beautiful, painful, or somewhere in between.

It is the joy and triumph that rise on the other side of loss.

It is the tiny rituals, a cappuccino after a run, walking my dog and suddenly noticing the flowers, a quiet or loud drive with my parents. And the moments alone or with strangers that catch you off guard in the best way.

And sometimes you are not thinking at all, until suddenly you are, and you realize in the singing and dancing or while lost in a conversation, this is joy.

It is the big things too. Finally closing a deal after hustling for months, launching a project I poured a year into, gathering people for an event and feeling their energy, or catching myself on a team call thinking, wow, I built this.

But the truth is, in all the rushing and doing, we forget to feel any of it. We miss the very life we are working so hard to build.

So this is your reminder, and mine, to slow down. Look around as if you are watching a movie of your own life. Notice how beautiful the chaos and simplicity really are.

Because that, to me, is happiness. I am truly thankful for my ability to experience all of that and express that here with all of you. 💕

I can’t believe I never posted this video here. 🤯 In the chaos of the last month, it slipped through, but this work is too important not to share.

If you haven’t seen it yet, please watch it and check out the report. This study took a full year to build: brand partners, advisors, designing the survey, collecting the data, analyzing the findings… all so we could finally quantify what creators are actually feeling every day.

Creators for Mental Health isn’t just about wellbeing, it’s a labor issue and a business issue. If we’re going to talk about the creator economy, we have to talk about the human realities behind it and building better systems to support it.

First TikTok Awards in the U.S. and last event of 2025 🥳

I’ve been on this platform since the Musical.ly days in 2015, and being in that room brought up a lot of feelings. I kept thinking about how much creator culture has changed, and yet how powerful it still is when people actually show up for each other offline.

The timing was also hard to ignore. Earlier that day, the U.S. approved TikTok’s majority sale to U.S. ownership. It felt strange and meaningful at the same time to be celebrating creators while bigger conversations about platforms and power were unfolding in the background.

Seeing creators connect in person is always grounding. It’s easy to talk about impact at a high level, but these platforms really do create opportunities, careers, and entire ecosystems. There are real challenges too, and we should keep talking about them, but nights like this are a reminder of what’s possible.

Even as I get older and could be more jaded, I still try to keep up. Not just because it’s strategic, but because there’s still something genuinely fun and energizing about these spaces that keeps me going, even when I feel like giving up.

Creator culture really does hit different in person.

I love trying new AI tools and this was a fun one to demo. It builds and designs a full website for you in minutes.

Onepage creates everything directly in a no-code environment, so you can customize it instantly.

If you’ve been putting off making your site, try it at Onepage.ai and see how fast it is. 🔥

This AI doesn’t just market. It closes deals. 💰

Voice AI agents are like your first AI employee.

They answer calls, talk to leads, and book appointments automatically.

I’m testing it, recommending it to businesses I work with, and honestly, it’s one of the most practical AI tools I’ve seen so far.

Even my dad, who rents out apartments, is going to try it.

So what’s the difference between a Voice AI agent and an AI employee?

The Voice AI agent is one part of the system handling customer calls and bookings.

But the full AI employee includes tools for live chat, reviews, content, and automation. One tool replaces a receptionist. The full setup replaces a small team.
