“We should go to Paris one day.” And then one day, we did. 🇫🇷🤍

My third trip to Paris. My husband’s second. But getting to experience Paris with our kids for their very first time made this trip completely different.

The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Montmartre, Notre-Dame and simply wandering the streets of Paris together. Some trips are worth taking more than once.

I came home from Europe wanting to cook differently. 🇫🇷🤍

Not every dinner needs to be made in 20 minutes. Sometimes I want to put on music, pour something to drink and spend a Saturday afternoon in the kitchen making something that takes a little more time.

So this weekend, I made beef bourguignon at home and put my new Classic Chef’s Knife to work. From prepping the beef to slicing mushrooms, carrots and herbs, I used the same 8-inch chef’s knife through nearly the entire recipe.

And after hours of chopping, browning and simmering? Dinner took me right back to France.

London, 23 years later. 🇬🇧✨

The last time I was here was in 2003, when I came to London with Arizona State University for an international business program.

This time looked a little different.

I came back with my husband and kids, experiencing London again through their eyes as they saw it for the very first time. The red buses, iconic landmarks, neighborhood streets, pub stops and everything that makes London feel like London.

There’s something special about returning to a place you knew in a completely different chapter of your life.

When your college football team plays in London, even the stadium bag has to be part of the outfit. 🇬🇧🏈

Montana West Sports gifted us two of their stadium bags plus a card holder for our ASU game days, and of course they had to make the trip across the pond with us. ✨

I carried mine through London and all the way to Wembley for the Union Jack Classic. It was stadium-friendly, held everything I needed for game day, and, most importantly, actually worked with the outfit. Because if I’m traveling more than 5,000 miles for a football game, I’m not letting the clear bag ruin the look. 😂
