*πŸ‘‰ 'Fatou' of Germany Who Entered the World Record Book πŸ‘ˆ*

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Fatou, the world’s oldest gorilla living at the Berlin Zoo in Germany, recently celebrated her 69th birthday. Belonging to the Western lowland gorilla species, she celebrated her birthday on April 13, 2026. But it wasn’t with a sugar-filled cake.

Considering her advanced age and health, a special vegetable and flower basket was prepared just for her, consisting of cherry tomatoes, beetroot, leeks, and lettuce.

The number β€˜69’ was beautifully displayed on it, and a large crowd and journalists gathered at the zoo that day to see her calmly enjoying her birthday meal.

Born in an African forest in 1957, this remarkable animal’s story is far deeper than just the life story of one animal. She was smuggled to Europe inside a French sailor’s travel bag.

When the sailor was unable to pay his bill at a tavern in Marseille, France, he gave the tiny gorilla infant to the tavern owner. Through another animal dealer, she was brought to the Berlin Zoo in May 1959. Having lived at the Berlin Zoo for over 66 years since then, she is now a matriarch of many generations. Fatou, who gave birth to β€˜Dufte’ in 1974, the first gorilla cub born at the Berlin Zoo, now has a living, vast family tree spanning four generations, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Typically, a gorilla living in the wild has a lifespan of between 35 and 40 years. However, under the specialized care of zoos, they can live for about 50 years. Yet Fatou, who is also listed in the Guinness World Records, has surpassed all those limits.

Her longevity clearly proves how vital conservation programs are for Western lowland gorillas, which are critically endangered due to hunting, disease, and habitat loss.

She arrived in West Berlin during the dark period of the Cold War between world powers. Having silently watched the massive upheavals the world has undergone over nearly seven decades, she too now shows signs of aging. Most of her teeth have fallen out, and she has mild arthritis and hearing impairment.

Having moved away from the rowdiness of young gorillas, she now prefers to spend her time peacefully in a separate enclosure. "She is very friendly with the staff, but still a bit stubborn. And at 69, there’s nothing wrong with that stubbornness," says Christian Aust, the primate keeper, for that reason.

Although time has changed much of the world, and even though she was torn from her homeland through human cruelty, the immortal story of this amazing β€˜old lady’ who survived and set a world record amidst human love teaches us a silent yet powerful lesson about nature’s true resilience.

U.S. First Lady Melania Trump says she never had any personal friendship with the late Jeffrey Epstein, who is regarded as an American financial services businessman and s*x offender, or with his close associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

She made these remarks during a special statement at the White House, rejecting rumors that Epstein introduced her to Donald Trump and that she maintained a friendship with them.

She further stated that all allegations made against her are baseless.

"To be clear, I have never maintained a friendship with Epstein or his associate (Ghislaine) Maxwell," she said.

Meanwhile, as First Lady Melania Trump denies ties to Jeffrey Epstein, the White House has also informed reporters that any statement linking the two 'should end today.'

πŸ‘‰Artemis II Astronauts Return Home After Making History: Orion Spacecraft to Splash Down in the Pacific TomorrowπŸ‘ˆ

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The Orion spacecraft of the Artemis II mission, carrying the first crew of humans to travel around the Moon in over 50 years, is now successfully journeying back toward Earth. Having flown past the far side of the Moon, the spacecraft has now escaped the Moon’s gravitational influence and is being pulled in by Earth’s gravity. This mission successfully utilized a 'free-return trajectory' to safely direct the spacecraft back to Earth using natural gravitational forces, without the need for a major engine burn. Accordingly, the Orion spacecraft is scheduled to splash down at sea on April 10, marking the end of this historic spaceflight.

This crew of astronauts, who set the record for the farthest distance traveled from Earth by humans, is now approaching Earth at a speed exceeding 2,735 kilometers per hour (1,700 miles per hour). The astronauts have already begun taking steps to conduct the necessary tests and physical exercises to successfully withstand the intense pressure conditions and physical forces that will arise during the spacecraft’s high-speed entry into Earth’s atmosphere. After safely entering the atmosphere along the designated trajectory, the Orion spacecraft is expected to make a safe splashdown in the Pacific Ocean soon, aided by a specialized parachute system.

A ceasefire between the US, Israel, and Iran, announced by President Donald Trump, has been reportedly violated by both Iran and Israel, with each side launching attacks against the other. The ceasefire was conditional on Iran stopping its attacks and allowing safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran's Supreme National Security Council had accepted the two-week ceasefire deal, but emphasized that the war isn't over and it will respond strongly to any enemy actions. However, shortly after the ceasefire announcement, Iran launched ballistic missiles towards Israel, triggering air raid sirens and prompting Israel's air defense systems to intercept the missiles ⁴ ².

Israel's military has continued its operations in Iran despite the ceasefire agreement, with Israeli officials skeptical about the truce from the start. The Israeli Prime Minister's office stated that the ceasefire doesn't include Lebanon, where Hezbollah militants are based.

The situation remains fragile, with global oil prices experiencing temporary fluctuations. Talks are set to resume on Friday in Islamabad, Pakistan, aiming to negotiate a more lasting agreement.

US President Donald Trump is facing intense backlash in the political arena after a controversial statement about Iran, with calls for his removal from office.

Trump's post on Truth Social saying "the entire civilization will die tonight" has sparked fears of a nuclear war, with critics accusing him of threatening mass destruction. Democratic lawmakers, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, argue that Trump's mental state has deteriorated and he should be removed under the 25th Amendment.

Rep. Ro Khanna condemned Trump's comments, stating that calling Iranians "animals" and threatening to destroy a whole civilization is unacceptable. Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi also called for Trump's removal, saying the country needs "sane leadership".

Even some Republicans, including former allies, have denounced Trump's statement. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a former Trump supporter, called it a "mean and crazy" act and supports his removal. Senator Lisa Murkowski said such comments harm America's image globally.

The White House denies these allegations, with spokesperson Davis Inge claiming Democrats are on a "witch hunt" against Trump.

Analysts point out that removing Trump through impeachment or the 25th Amendment is unlikely, given the Republican-controlled Congress and his loyal cabinet. Trump has been impeached twice before but acquitted by the Senate.

Astronauts on NASA's Artemis II mission have set a new record for the farthest distance humans have traveled from Earth.

They've surpassed the previous record set by the Apollo 13 mission in 1970.

Artemis II is NASA's first crewed mission to orbit the Moon since the Apollo era and is designed to test spacecraft systems and crew operations before returning humans to the lunar surface.

Iran has rejected US President Donald Trump's "48-hour ultimatum", warning of severe consequences if the Strait of Hormuz isn't reopened. Trump threatened to destroy Iran's critical infrastructure if no agreement is reached, escalating tensions between the two nations.

Iran's military headquarters condemned Trump's statement as "desperate, anxious, unbalanced, and foolish". General Ali Abdollahahi responded, saying, "The simple meaning of this message is that the gates of hell are open for you."

Trump tweeted, "Remember, I gave Iran 10 days to make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz. Time is running out. Only 48 hours left before the destruction of hell descends upon them."

The conflict centers on the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a key oil shipping route. The US military is on high alert, ready to strike at any moment. The crisis threatens global economy and regional peace.

Five weeks into the US and Israel's joint airstrikes on Iran, US President Donald Trump warns that they are "just beginning" to destroy Iran's remaining infrastructure.

The conflict has severely impacted global energy markets, with the international community scrambling to reopen the closed Strait of Hormuz for fuel shipments.

Trump tweeted, "The US has just begun to destroy what's left of Iran," threatening next to target Iran's dams and power plants. He shared footage of an American bomb hitting a newly built 'B1' dam between Tehran and Karaj.

Iran's state media reports 8 dead and 95 injured in the strike. Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi says targeting civilian infrastructure won't subdue Iran. Over 100 American international law experts condemn the US actions and Trump's comments as violating international humanitarian law and potentially constituting war crimes.

The Strait of Hormuz closure has pushed global fuel prices up. 40 countries, led by the UK, discuss securing shipping, but no agreement yet. The UN Security Council will vote on Bahrain's proposal to secure commercial vessels on Saturday, but China opposes force.

Meanwhile, Kuwait's Mina al-Ahmadi refinery was hit by drone attacks, and Saudi Arabia says it downed 7 drones. Iran's Revolutionary Guard claims to have downed another US F-35 fighter jet.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll shows 56% of Americans worry the war will hurt their finances. The conflict has killed thousands in the Middle East, with the Red Cross warning of medical supply and food shortages.
