I spent the year gassing up the boss and now I’m gonna gas myself up. Most of the content you saw from Kamala Harris’ instagram, I took.

I walked with her, ran past secret service, squatted to get the shot and did it all in style. I tried to share the energy from the ground and translated that to her IG stories.

It was key to have Black and Brown Women filmmakers tell her story. We had an ALL WOMEN OF COLOR VIDEO TEAM just for the VP which mirrored the representation that I saw during her primary run.

The K-Hive and thousands of motivated voters took our shots and remixed them to boss level icon s**t. It’s been an honor to work with the VP-elect and I am grateful for the growth I’ve experienced as a storyteller, a leader and a woman.

I haven’t been sleeping well and I regularly concern myself in how I can fix all problems. My therapist says I shouldn’t stress about things I can’t control but here I am, anxious and pi**ed off.

This is the most important election of our lifetimes. If we don’t act on climate change now, out entire planet will suffer. S**t, it’s already struggling to stay alive.
I ain’t gonna be here to tell you who to vote for. I want you to do your own research and support the candidate that best reflects your beliefs! We are all here to try to make the world a better place. But get involved, get active, and let’s kick this terrible president out of the Oval Office. We all gotta stand together next November, our planet, our children, our future depends on it. Who are y’all interested in this election? And is there anything you’d like to know more about the senator I support?
