It is with a heavy heart and a happy heart that I announce that Mark's Downtown Diner has a new owner starting next week. We have enjoyed 10 years of serving you and meeting so many wonderful people, that have become good friends. We thank you so much for supporting us over the years. We love Loudon and it's friendly folks.
The new owner is Shane Whitten, he is a resident of Loudon. He has been a Chef for Grady's Goodtime in Knoxville, Aunrey's, Cooper Cellar, Chesapeke's, Carraba's and the Bone Fish Grill. He is excited to have his own Restaurant and has said he will not make any major changes immediately, but we expect he will make some menu changes and possibly be open evenings. He is bring tons of Restaurant experience and new ideas with him. Please welcome him into the business and support him in his new adventure.

It's FRIDAY!!! Let the weekend begin..To start you off today we have Pulled BBQ Pork with Potato Salad and Baked Beans. Now that is a weekend in the back yard kinda meal.. Then tonight we have Our All You Can Eat Fried Catfish Dinner! We have a Grilled 8 oz Center Cut Pork Chop, A Grilled 8 oz Top Sir Loin Steak, the Best grilling around...:) Come on in and enjoy the start of the weekend with Good Food and Good Friends.
