Best of luck to Liz Bishop at CBS6 who will be retiring later this summer. I remember her starting out in 1971-72 while still attending UAlbany. She was one of the first female reporters given access to the NY Yankees locker room while a Sports Reporter early in her career. Not only did she cohost all of the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethons at WRGB starting in 1972, but she was also MC at one of the MDA Muscle Walks at UAlbany's SEFCU arena which was also represented by WVCR 88.3 The Saint.
