Greetings, Lion Nation!
My name is Chris Baird, and it is with great pride and enthusiasm that I step into the role of Director of Athletics at Louisa County High School. I would like to express my appreciation to our community leaders, the Louisa County School Board, Superintendent Straley, LCPS administrators, and LION NATION for your support! 🦁
Our athletic department is truly special—a tradition built on resilience, unity, and the relentless pursuit of greatness. From the practice fields to the classroom, from game day to graduation, we will commit ourselves to excellence, integrity, and the full development of every student-athlete.
Athletics has the power to transform lives. We will continue to create an environment where every student-athlete can reach their full potential—physically, academically, and personally. We will celebrate victories, grow from challenges, and carry ourselves with pride, knowing we represent something larger than ourselves.
Whether you are a returning family, a new student, a dedicated alum, or a passionate supporter, I invite you to be an active part of our athletic journey. I believe that our programs are strongest when we work together—coaches, families, staff, and community—united in support of our student-athletes. Please know that I value your input.
