This beautiful girl is looking for a new family. ❤️

Meet Pepper. She been loved and very well cared for by a sweet little lady for about 6 months. She is estimated to be 2 years old. Unfortunately, she has more energy and enthusiasm than the lady can manage, so they are hoping to find her a home where she can truly thrive.

She is a very intelligent, energetic, playful girl. She appears to be an Australian Kelpie or Kelpie mix and has that wonderful working-dog personality—smart, eager and ready to go!

She is spayed and microchipped, and she is loved.

Soap box serious talk

PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING A PUPPY.

There is a current situation in our area that should be a wake-up call to anyone looking for a puppy. The puppy you bring home is only part of the story. What about the mother and father who produced that puppy? What’s is their life like? And don’t support that practice. Walk away! You buying a pup from them only makes them breed again and again ignoring the adults. It’s disgusting and if you do it I’m disgusted with you.

Don’t just look at cute puppy pictures and a price. Ask to see where the adult dogs live. Are they part of the family? Do they receive attention, affection, veterinary care and a clean environment? Or are they kept outside, in cages, kennels or neglected once they are no longer producing puppies? That is a horrible life.

Support responsible home breeders who keep their numbers small enough to properly love and care for every dog. Investigate who you are buying from. I am here to help I can give you red flags to look for etc. I have bought a few dogs in the past five years so I know what’s out there and I know conditions and red flags. I am happy to help you if it will avoid another dog living just to breed.

A “cheap” puppy can become the most expensive puppy you ever buy when poor breeding and poor care come with it.

Do your homework. Ask questions. Look beyond the puppy. The parents matter. you are part of the problem if you do not.❤️🐾
