I never imagined I would have to write something like this..Itâs the most devastating experience of our lives. We are trying to navigate our grief while also facing the painful reality of planning a funeral and saying goodbye to someone we loved so deeply.
Like many families, we never expected to be in this position so suddenly. Now, while trying to comfort our children and process our own heartbreak, we are also struggling with the financial burden of laying him to rest the way he deserves.
Asking for help is not easy. In fact, it may be one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. But right now, I have to put my pride aside for my husband and for our children.
