A lawsuit filed by the Central Jewish Consultation (CJO) to stop Ye from performing in Arnhem, Netherlands, and to deny him entry into the country has been rejected and cannot be appealed. 🇳🇱

Ye will perform at the GelreDome on June 6 and 8.

Sylvia Sims Bolton is reportedly facing both felony and misdemeanor charges after authorities said she signed a mail-in ballot using her deceased mother’s name. Officials say her mother had already passed away at the time the ballot was submitted. Bolton currently serves as alderperson for Waukegan’s First Ward.

What stands out to me is how often people claimed this kind of thing “never happens,” yet cases like this do surface. At the same time, isolated fraud cases still aren’t evidence of widespread election fraud overall.

Still, situations like this deserve attention regardless of political party, because ignoring them when they hurt your side, while amplifying them when they hurt the other side, is exactly the kind of hypocrisy people are tired of.

Yesterday didn’t feel like a normal Memorial Day.

Honestly, it felt more like Memorial Day during COVID.

I was out driving through the city yesterday — from the East End to the West End of Louisville, all the way through Southern Indiana. And one thing I noticed was how different everything felt.

I barely saw people outside celebrating or partying. Mostly, I saw people working in their yards, older folks sitting quietly on their porches, and roads that just didn’t have that usual holiday energy.

And I kept thinking… of all holidays for America to seem disconnected from, Memorial Day feels like the wrong one.

This is the day meant to honor the people who fought and sacrificed so we could enjoy moments like these in freedom.

Something about the American spirit feels different lately. Like the country is in a strange space where nobody really knows what’s next.

But one thing I do know is… America feels different now.

The 2026 Louisville mayoral race is officially heating up, and it’s time to talk about the two very different directions this city can go.
On one side, you have the incumbent, Craig Greenberg, Aka Big Nose Biden, often called the voice for the commercial and corporate folk.

We see him in carefully staged photos or showing up when big new buildings are going up, but is he really connected to the everyday struggles of our neighborhoods?
On the other side, you have Shameka Parrish Wright, the true voice of the Louisville community.

Her reach stretches from the East to the West, and the North to the South. She isn't just showing up for photo ops; she is actively on the ground, out in the neighborhoods talking to real people and actually listening to what they need. When she speaks, she speaks directly for the people.

To US, the choice should be clear.
