Happy Last Day of School North Clay! I wanted to give one final update before we headed home for summer break! Through our Cards Care Fundraiser, the NCHS Business/Technology classes were able to gift a check of $1,560 today to HS English Teacher, Hanah Clark, in support of her husband Christopher who is battling kidney failure and waiting on a transplant.

I wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU to our community members and businesses who supported this Cards Care Fundraiser effort. I feel really grateful that in our content area we have the ability to create. But, what is more important to me is that we take our creative abilities and we also teach our kids how to serve and how to give. Through this opportunity, my students were able to experience all three and that is one of the best things I can teach. Thank you for supporting our efforts to create, serve, and give back to those who hold a special place in our heart. These things wouldn't be possible without YOU. The NC Community is special and I am so grateful to be a part of it.

The final episode of Season Two is here! Truly, thank you for watching this year and for hanging in there with us throughout the season. It wasn't always easy, but we did it and I am so proud of how we finished the year together and the memories that we made along the way. This one is only 8 minutes and I think it's worth it, if you watch it all the way to the end.

Oh and great news! We've been renewed for another season; so we'll see you next year on, The Cardinal Chirp! Congrats to this special class of 2025...you will be missed!

As a final project for the Broadcasting class, the seniors were tasked with grabbing their class partner and creating a senior series episode with their own logo, unique editing functions, and interview ten of their graduating senior class members! WHEW. It's been a busy few days. Thank you to everyone who ordered from our Cards Care Fundraiser! We had almost 190 orders from our NC community and every time I pressed a shirt, it got a little more humbling. Thank you for being a part of this fundraiser and for helping us raise money for Hanah and her family. Thanks for also always taking one of my wild ideas and just going with it.

Orders are now in offices or being sent home with students today! If you need to pay for your order still, please do that as soon as possible. Offices are only open until 3:30 PM today for pick-up, but you are welcome to grab them next week as well!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I hope that every time you choose to wear this shirt, you are reminded of what a blessing it is to be a part of this community! 🖤

Saw a meme the other day that said, “We’ve reached the point in the school year where the students are acting like siblings who’ve been stuck in the car on a long road trip for just a bit too long.”

Allll the giggles and lots of togetherness as we try to finish this school year off strong. 😅Or maybe Cocomelon says it best…”Are we there yet? Not Yet.” 👀🤨

Episode Release Friday - A fun little Prom Recap Video put together by the Broadcasting class! We had some issues in exporting this video, so we apologize for the delay in posting, but it was such a fun night that we want to remember! Thank you to the Junior class officers, sponsors, and the junior class parents for all of their hard work in giving us a red carpet worthy evening!

Who needs a smile on this Tuesday? This is one of the latest productions from my Video Editing class that they worked on before spring break! This one is entitled, "A Day In the Life of The Easter Bunny"! It was too cute not to share!
