It feels like Christmas as we unwrap and start to assemble our new grant money funded, presents! A brand new camera, a new boom kit, and new tripods have this crew EXCITED this morning! 🌟 What fun to receive these MUCH anticipated gifts today! Thank you to our school district for helping us receive the funding for all of these new learning tools!

Field Trip Day for our broadcasting & video editing classes!! Wabash Valley hosted their annual Radio/TV Day and the focus was on all of the different careers you can do within the world of communication/media! They heard from drone specialists, a wildlife photographer, a sports photography/videography student, marketing/social media/radio professional, and the importance of integrating AI into media!! The options are endless and the work featured today was outstanding!

A special part of today was that our group leader was NCHS Class of 2024 (& Season 2 of the Cardinal Chirp) Alumni, Hunter Cummins!!! It was so good to see him doing so well at WVC and I love that he is pursing his passion for media! So proud of you, Hunter!

Loaded up on the bus with Taco Tierra and now headed back to NCHS to catch the end of our career fair. Our kids are blessed to experience days like today!

We’re taking a well-deserved extended weekend break and we’ll see you next week on The Cardinal Chirp! 🖤

The 2nd Annual Chirpsgiving! 🦃🖤 Boy, oh boy that was interesting! 😅😵‍💫 One of my favorite comments from today after seeing the food that was brought in was…”Is this a chirpsgiving or a Super Bowl party?” Ha! I think that’s for sure a generational thing.

Might have been unconventional all together but so are we! And that’s why I love us! New episode coming Tuesday, Nov. 25th!

And s/o to the moms (including mine) for the food to make today happen! So grateful for all of you!
