⭐ Lake Forest’s own Lisa Baldwin proves that making a difference is more than a moment - it’s a way of life. From Meals on Wheels to supporting homeless organizations, Lisa’s heart for service has now found a home at CASA of the River Region.

As a CASA Volunteer Advocate, Lisa stands in the corner of children who need stability, love, and a voice in court. Kentucky has one of the highest child abuse rates in the nation, and nearly 200 kids are still waiting for someone to step in.

⭐ Every child deserves the chance to thrive, and at Kids Center for Pediatric Therapies, that’s exactly what they work toward every day. For more than 65 years, they have empowered children with physical, behavioral, and intellectual challenges to reach their full potential, regardless of their family’s ability to pay the full cost of care. Lake Forest residents Vicki Rogers, Terru Todoroff, and Christa Gambert proudly serve as Board Members, helping guide this amazing organization.

💙 Each year, over 1,200 children come to Kids Center for physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, feeding and nutrition support, and more—all under one roof. Their team works hand-in-hand with families to provide expert, compassionate, and personalized care that builds confidence, sparks joy, and helps children fully participate in life.

🏜️ Red rocks, wild rides, and sunsets for days — Meredith and Brant Stewart’s Moab adventure was the perfect reminder that unforgettable trips don’t need to be long, just epic.

This Lake Forest duo packed their Memorial Day weekend with off-roading in Hell’s Revenge, hiking through Arches and Canyonlands, soaking in poolside views, and chasing sunsets from the La Sal Mountains to the Moab Valley. Oh, and let’s not forget Beer Cheese Soup, gelato, and dinosaur tracks. Moab gave them beauty, adrenaline, and just enough downtime to soak it all in. Now that’s how you weekend!
