MSPI has had me out here remixing every comfort food I love, and these pancakes have officially made the cut. Light, fluffy, easy, AND they work dairy-free or full dairy.

I tweaked the recipe from and love it!
DF swaps: oat milk + plant butter
And I always cook my bacon first then my pancakes for more flavor.

▫️1.5 cups flour
▫️2 tablespoons sugar
▫️1 tablespoon baking powder
▫️1/2 teaspoon salt
▫️1 1/4 cups milk (I used )
▫️1 egg
▫️5 tablespoons butter (I used plant butter)
▫️2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Breakfast for dinner forever. 🥞✨

If your house currently looks like every toy your child has ever owned is having a meeting in the middle of your living space… welcome, you’re in the right place!

I tried to break everything down in this carousel so it actually makes sense, no matter your space, or how many plastic animals you’ve accidentally stepped on at 2AM. 😅

The biggest takeaway? You don’t need a fancy system, expensive bins or products, or to spend hours overthinking it. You just need fewer toys out at once.

Whether you live in a small home, apartment, or just feel like drowning in toys 24/7, this system works. And it truly changes how kids play. 🤍

I knew our basement felt chaotic, but I didn’t realize how much it was affecting both of us…until now. Toy rotation has been an absolute game changer for us!

I ended up pulling back over half of our toys, yes… HALF! And the difference is unreal. Suddenly everything made sense: fewer choices meant she actually plays.

One of my favorite suggestions from all of you was to rotate books, too. So I created a little “mini library” and sorted everything into categories. Now I only keep out one tiny shelf at a time, and it’s wild how much more she reads when there aren’t 200 books staring at her.

And the best part? Once it was organized, rotating became the easiest thing ever. No schedule, no complicated system. If she’s bored with a station, I swap it. If she’s obsessed with something, I add to it.

I know not everyone has a storage room like this. My original plan was just clear totes stacked in a closet and rotating one tote at a time.

Less stuff out.
More intentional play.
A calmer basement.
A calmer mom.

10/10 recommend taking the plunge…just maybe don’t dump every single bin out at once like I did. 😅
