The best part of logo design is taking real life inspiration and turning it into something tangible.

I recently got to work with Michelle from M&M’s Dog Treats. We pulled pieces of her actual world (peep the inspo pic) and tied them into the final logo.

I’ve shared before that grief has rewired my brain…more anxiety, more what ifs, more awareness.

But it also gave me perspective that can only come from the trenches.

Sis napped late yesterday and I remember thinking, realllllly? And then at midnight she was singing, dancing on the counter, eating snacks with me and just living her best life. And while we were giggling late onto the night together, instead of being annoyed, all I could think of was him!

I’ll never stop wishing he was here. But I’m also so incredibly thankful for the mom he made me.

If the “worst” part of my day is a happy, giggling living kid up too late…then I know how lucky I am. 🤍

My sweet Auggie, you might not be with us on earth but you will forever live in how I mother, how I love, and how I look at life.
