This morning, as I’m making biscuits with my grandmother’s 1970s Tupperware containers, her rolling pin, flour sifter, and metal bowl, I can’t help but think of her and all the wonderful meals she made for us. I’m using my mom’s biscuit recipe, and my heart is full of gratitude for the God-fearing women in my life. I was blessed with two incredible grandmothers and a beautiful mother. My grandmothers are now in heaven, and I look forward to the day I’ll see them again.
