An open letter I wrote after three weeks of online harassment. I’m done staying quiet — this is my statement.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Resistance Is In The Streets
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Put down your phone. Take a deep breath.
The resistance isn’t in the comments section
of a small press who used Ai to mock-up a trans flag
on an app owned by another sick twisted billionaire.
The resistance in the streets.
The resistance is a sidewalk chalk vandal.
It’s a peaceful protest that we walk together.
It’s a 3 hour drive to LA & we got a full tank.
The resistance is educating yourself,
not eating what mass media feeds you.
I have work to do that has nothing to do with followers or likes.
For people like us, for people like you,
who are hurt & angry,
lost & left out of the conversation.
We don’t cut each other down here.
We only build each other up here.
We know that we can’t afford to lose anyone.
So get out of the comment section.
The resistance is in the streets.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
PS. I wrote this in Self Love Club which happens every Sunday and you’re invited. Yeah, even you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Two minimalist beige graphics featuring the title Open Letter to the two people who keep flaming our comments by Sage Herrin. The text speaks directly to online harassers, urging them to put down their phones, stop feeding into comment-section arguments, and remember that activism and resistance happen in real life — through protest, education, and community. The post ends with the line: “The resistance is in the streets.” and is signed poetry & art for mental health awareness .
