Through curated content, community engagement, and collaborative initiatives, we aim to foster a deeper appreciation for what makes our city unique. Discover Louisville is a creative platform rooted in community. We celebrate the city’s people, stories, and culture through art, design, and meaningful collaborations. From skyline prints and neighborhood illustrations to local storytelling and city-inspired collections, we’re here to uplift Louisville — and those who call it home. Our Purpose
We started as an online news magazine highlighting the voices and events shaping Louisville. Today, we continue that mission through design and storytelling, blending creativity with community to reflect the identity of our city in a modern, artistic way. A Platform for the Creative Community
As we grow, so does our vision: to build a hub where local creatives, entrepreneurs, and residents can connect, share, and thrive. That means offering more than just beautiful art. We aim to co-create opportunities with other makers, support small businesses, and showcase Louisville’s vibrant talent and energy from every block, neighborhood, and zip code.

💛 Giving Back, Forward

Giving back is more than a statement — it’s part of our design. We’re committed to using our platform, products, and profits to support small businesses, entrepreneurs, and underrepresented voices throughout Louisville. We believe in the power of technology — including tools like AI — to unlock opportunities and bridge access gaps. That’s why we’re building resources, educational tools, and creative collaborations that help connect people with possibility. From community workshops and tech-forward toolkits to artist features and future partnerships, we’re here to help shape a more inclusive, empowered, and creative Louisville.

Golden Tempo did not just win the Kentucky Derby. He delivered a movie-script finish.

A longshot horse.
A historic trainer.
A jockey on a two-night tear.
And a brother-vs-brother battle at the wire.

Trainer Cherie DeVaux became the first woman to train a Kentucky Derby winner.

Jockey Jose L. Ortiz won the Derby aboard Golden Tempo, just one night after winning the Kentucky Oaks with Always a Runner.

And the horse he had to beat?

Renegade, ridden by his brother, Irad Ortiz Jr.

Golden Tempo first.
Renegade second.
History made.

That is why Derby Day never gets old!

The "Pink Building" is getting a massive second act. 🏨

The rumors are confirmed: The iconic Humana Building is set to become Louisville’s new 1,000-room convention hotel.

This isn’t just a renovation, it’s a $600M+ complete transformation led by Poe Companies. The plan includes converting the existing tower AND building a second new tower right next door to hit that 1,000-room goal.

The Specs:

💰 Investment: $600M - $700M

🏗️ Construction: Starts 2027

📍 Impact: Will become the 2nd largest hotel in the city

It’s a bold pivot from corporate office to hospitality.

What do you think: Is this exactly what Downtown needs?
