I stayed on the big cement path/ road, but there are so many treasures and types of paths to explore.

It is a Kentucky treasure.

If you haven't been in a while, the gardens and services have expanded.

In July and August, every Friday from 4-7, they have free admittance, music, and a happy hour work food and drinks for purchase.

This place is magical.
They were preparing for a wedding as you'll see in some of the images.

You can explore rustic trails, visit the historic buildings (my favs were the ones with slate roofs, buy plants, have a snack, or visit the garden cat, Helen.

12.00 for a single day visit or buy an annual membership for 50.00 and enter for free all year.
I love this place.

Tip of the day: properties you may fall in love with online may photograph well, but the neighborhood may not. I viewed a property today that was darling. However, the industrial park with an enormous combustible tank right next door....umm... not so much.
View properties. Please do not make an offer if you haven't viewed the whole property at various times of the day and evening.

Things I noticed during an Open House: I like the blue hue in the gray paint, the light fixtures, the fireplaces (all three), the closets with proper light fixtures, and the color of the kitchen cabinets as well a backsplash.

The Back Home restaurant and gift shop in Elizabethtown was a step back in time. The historic building with a towering front door serves old fashioned, comfort food.
