Wow—personally, I am simply proud.

In our 10-year history, this is the first time we have seen a student graduate on Friday and pass the Kentucky State Theory Licensing Exam on Monday morning—the very next business morning.

Could this be a Kentucky first, or one of the first? We are not claiming a record without verification, but this achievement is truly extraordinary.

So proud of our graduate—and deeply proud of the caring instructors who prepared her to be ready.

YES I CAN → I HAVE DONE IT → YES, YOU WILL.

SHE GRADUATED LAST FRIDAY. THIS MORNING, SHE PASSED KENTUCKY’S STATE THEORY LICENSING EXAM—ON THE VERY NEXT BUSINESS MORNING AFTER GRADUATION.

Could this be a Kentucky first—or one of the fastest documented turnarounds in the state?

We will not declare an official record without documented historical evidence. But we can state the achievement clearly:

Friday: she completed every required hour and graduated.
Monday morning: she passed Kentucky’s State Theory Licensing Exam.

Only one business day separated the two milestones.

The deepest measure of education is not the ceremony alone. It is whether learning becomes readiness, whether readiness becomes action, and whether action opens the door to lawful professional opportunity.

On Friday, the certificate said:

I HAVE DONE IT.

On Monday morning, the passing result said:

I WAS READY.

This was not luck. It was the alignment of focused study, caring instruction, licensing-centered preparation, prompt processing, and a graduate who acted immediately while everything remained fresh in her mind.

Today at the Rotary Club of Louisville, I had the honor of learning from Dr. Robbie Fletcher, Kentucky Commissioner of Education, as he spoke on a powerful topic: “More Than a Test Score, More Than a Color.”

For me, this was more than a meeting. It was a reminder that education is changing because the world itself has changed.

Automation is changing work. AI is changing information. Transparency is changing public trust. Families are questioning value. Adults are returning to learning. Employers are asking for real proof of readiness. Communities need education that prepares people not only to pass, but to live, work, serve, adapt, and keep becoming.

At Di Tran University and Louisville Beauty Academy, this is the mission we live every day: human-centered education, adult empowerment, licensed workforce pathways, documentation, dignity, and real-world readiness.

Public education matters. Adult education matters. Career and technical education matters. Licensed professions matter. Skilled trades matter. Entrepreneurship matters. Every honorable pathway that helps a human being become more capable deserves respect.

I am grateful to the Rotary Club of Louisville for once again creating a room where leaders, educators, business owners, and community members can learn from one another. Time spent learning from people who carry public responsibility is never wasted.

Education is not only about systems. Education is about people.
People are not numbers.
