Bellarmine Radio is a free-form station, which means that DJs can play what they want and create their own vision. That’s certainly what our very own Elton AJ has done with his show, Retro and Modern Hits.

From his hometown in Goa, he listened intently to European and American pop and country before arriving at Bellarmine.

He’s made a name for himself as a DJ and singer and here’s the proof. Elton recently traveled to Bowling Green, KY to see the country band Brothers of the Heart, featuring Jimmy Fortune (former member of the Statler Brothers).

After the show at the meet-and-greet, Elton was surprised when the band recognized him from his YouTube cover of the Statler Brothers’ “Elizabeth” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAtbGhE59LU. They sang a bit of the tune together. How great is that?
